Interface selection-guide
As we provide interfaces for almost 100 different rotators it might be confusing to choose the right one suitable for the individual setup of a station. This selection-guide should help.
Azimuth & Elevation systems
- if your rotator is a Yaesu/Kenpro G-/Kr-5x00 with a DIN8-connector and a USB-interface is fine for you -> take ERC-DUO with the optional DIN8-cable
- for any other type and combination of rotators or if you need a LAN-interface or if you want to have a box with LCD and push-buttons -> take ERC-M USB kit or ERC-M SMD
- If you need a RS232-interface -> take ERC-M SMD
Azimuth rotator
- •if your rotator is a Yaesu DXA/DXC and you want an USB-interface -> take ERC-DUO
- if your rotator is a Yaesu/Kenpro SDX and you want an USB-interface -> take ERC-DUO wit the optional ERC-DUO SDX-adapter
- if your rotator has a remote-connector (e.g. Create with 6-pin DIN, Emotator with 5 pin DIN, ProSisTel B with D-SUB9) -> take ERC-M USB kit or ERC-M SMD
- if you need a LAN-interface or if you want to have a box with LCD and push-buttons -> take ERC-M USB kit or ERC-M SMD
- In all other cases -> take ERC V4 USB kit or ERC V4 RS232 kit or ERC V4 SMD USB
In any case, the
rotator-list will tell you, if you need additional connectors, cables or a Rotorcard in order to connect your rotator(s).
